Posted on April 14th, 2013

As you know that WordPress is the open source blogging tool, is experiencing an ongoing and highly distributed global attack on its installations. Well no doubt WordPress is the most popular blogging platform and millions of people uses this for setting up their online business as well.

If you are the one who also uses WordPress then there is a need to pay attention immediately. WordPress is going through an ongoing attack that uses a huge number of computers from across the Internet to commandeer servers that run the WordPress blogging application.

It is reported that the unknown people behind the highly distributed attack are using more than 90,000 IP addresses to brute-force crack administrative credentials of vulnerable WordPress systems, researchers from at least three Web hosting services reported. At least one company warned that the attackers may be in the process of building a “botnet” of infected computers that’s vastly stronger and more destructive than those available today. That’s because the servers have bandwidth connections that are typically tens, hundreds, or even thousands of times faster than botnets made of infected machines in homes and small businesses.

Well You just simply need to pay attention on few points if you are also a WordPress user. Just apply the below mentioned precautions to your WordPress blog to keep it safe.

Well, computer technology is a cosmic field, where the more we quest, the more knowledge

Server Management

we can gain from it. In simplest, we can tell computers to be an electronic device, which
processes the data according to the instructions given to it. However, we need to input the
data/instructions with the help of I/O devices and the computer processes and stores it in
the hard disc drives. In other words, we can say that computer is simply a box without I/O
devices and hard disc drives. Every programme performed in the computer is stored in HDD.
